Hillary Clinton casts historical vote for POTUS election

Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton was met by a resounding audience this morning as she arrived at her polling place in Chappaqua, N.Y.

“It’s a humbling feeling,” she said to reporters, according to the New York Times. “I know how much responsibility goes with this.”

Just after 8 a.m. in Douglas G. Grafflin Elementary School, people gathered to watch Clinton as she cast a vote for herself as President of the United States. It is the first time in United States’ history that a major female presidential candidate has voted for herself.

Clinton will be preparing two speeches later today, one of which will be delivered at Javits Center, depending on election results. It is suggested that Clinton has taken the lead in early votes, especially amongst Hispanic populations, according to MSNBC.
