Write or photograph for us!
The Wire is always looking for new contributors. If you’re interested in reporting or photography, please send an e-mail to email@example.com and let us know what you want to write about.
Contributing to the Wheaton Wire is a fantastic opportunity to network with other Wheaton students interested in journalism, and doing so will give you the experience and make the connections that will launch your future career endeavors.
If you would like to join our staff, please fill out an application below. All applicants will work to create content for their chosen section as a contributing writer/photographer/copy editor/etc.
Applications rolling in throughout the semester will continue to be reviewed, but the sooner you apply, the more likely you will be accepted as a member of the team.
The Wire operates and publishes under five main article guidelines. The anonymity of an author is only considered if the Editorial Board and the author come to a consensus that anonymity is essential. All fact-based viewpoints are welcome. Articles need to be factually sound. Any article using language that counteracts Wheaton’s campus-wide antiracism stance will not be published. Articles should not attack an identity or contain hate speech.
