Wheaton Students Protest Mandatory Mental Health Training Module, Administration Responds, Making the Training Optional

Housed at 42 Howard Street, the Counseling Center serves Wheaton students with a number of important services including crisis intervention, short-term counseling and support groups, alcohol and drug consultation, medical referrals and educational workshops.

Following concerns expressed by students, Dean of Students Zachary Irish and Director of Counseling & Health Services Valeria Tobia announced today that they plan to make the EverFi mental health module optional, rather than mandatory as first announced.
