Recently, Wheaton has been partaking in an array of fall activities.
Fall Fest took place on Saturday, Oct. 21. Among the activities were: pumpkin painting, fall-themed collage making, photo shoots on hay bails and building a stick collage in the Dimple.
Alumni were welcomed back to campus to support our sports teams in the afternoon. A variety of food trucks also attended.
The Wheaton community then gathered to celebrate the 50th reunion program of Leaving a Legacy. The fall-themed day concluded with an a cappella concert in Cole Memorial Chapel.
In addition to Fall Fest, the Lyon’s Den hosted a Pumpkin Spice night on Oct. 25. The night included a pumpkin decorating craft and pumpkin-themed desserts.
May Fellows hosted a viewing of “Magical Beast” on Tuesday, Oct. 17, and Harvest Fest in Beard Hall on Oct. 20, to bring the fall spirit to Wheaton.
On Oct. 28, Wheaton hosted the Halloween dance to conclude a fall-filled October.
Wheaton clubs also addressed the reality of fall being a part of hurricane season. Dancing for Disaster Relief occurred on Oct. 20, featuring S.O.L.E., Trybe, Paraiso, Latino, Tap Out Loud, Dance Co. and iSpeak.
Evidently, Wheaton has been falling into fall.
