PAC Adapts to the Hybrid Semester, Releases February Event Line-Up

Wheaton’s Programming and Activities Council (PAC) adapted quickly to the hybrid fall semester, hosting several popular events including a show put on by comedic juggler Ivan Pecel, a virtual campfire with Nic Howell and a paint night. The club recently released its line-up of events for February!

“I’m most excited about the Speed Dating event,” said Rey Grubler ’22, Chair of Marketing Design for PAC. “We’re trying to connect students on a whole different level through the speed dating format, with both platonic and romantic options!”

The Speed Dating event is being held on Feb. 13, the day before Valentine’s.

“We’ve added mini games for participants to connect on social media, and there’s a Valentine’s Day candy pick up,” Grubler said.

Other events include an open mic night on Feb. 18, with a scheduled performance by the Flute Choir and a Studio Ghibli Night on Feb. 20, including a kahoot trivia quiz. PAC recently kicked off their first event, “Ship Kit Fridays,” where students can engage with interactive stories on the club’s instagram (@wheatonpac) to win prizes!
