Return of the PAC

The Programming and Activities Council (PAC) have changed their name to the Wheaton Events Board (WEB) with a unanimous vote. PAC broke up last semester following allegations of bias incidents within the organization.

Mansfield Politics

Mansfield Architect Brendan Roche announced his candidacy for State Representative in the 1st Bristol District on Feb. 7, 2022. Roche is challenging 16-year Republican incumbent F. Jay Barrows, also of Mansfield. Barrows previously defeated Roche by a 12-point margin in 2020 and has only been challenged 4 times in his career. Roche currently sits on the Mansfield Planning Board as an associate member and previously served on the Mansfield Master Plan Committee. In his campaign announcement, Roche said that he is running to “create a better future for all.” The district represents all of Foxborough and portions of Mansfield and Norton.
