The Wire has received multiple reports on a series of verbal and physical assaults that occurred on campus Sunday morning. According to sources, the assaults took place around 1 a.m. on the north side of campus between Clark Hall and Watson Fine Arts Center. Police cars and Public Safety vehicles were seen in the area following the assaults, and the Wire has been told that arrests were made. We are working to confirm the arrests and have contacted Norton Police Department, Public Safety, and Wheaton administration for more information. Wheaton administration and/or Public Safety are expected to address the student body via email this afternoon.
